E ‘stato inaugurato nel 1873, e divenne, insieme a più tardi la hotelrimini.com (costruito nel 1908), un potente simbolo di un nuovo tipo di turismo che farebbe rivivere l’economia della città – come in verità, sin dai tempi di Sigismondo Malatesta, Rimini era stato in costante declino.
Tra questi ultimi 19 secolo e la prima metà del Novecento, Rimini ha iniziato trasformandosi nella località turistica ideale. Un luogo ideale per trascorrere i mesi caldi dell’estate italiana (prima di condizionamento d’aria fatta alloggiare in città calda e umida come praticabile Bologna). La seconda guerra mondiale, però, cambierebbe la natura del turismo di Rimini. Con l’inverno del 1944 le truppe alleate erano impantanati nella loro avanzata, le truppe tedesche occupanti e stabilire la linea gotica infame appena a sud di Rimini (sparsi per le colline di Rimini sono cimiteri di guerra alleati, testimonia la aspri combattimenti che hanno avuto luogo a liberare la città). Rimini con il suo porto e la ferrovia è stata strategicamente pesantemente bombardata dagli alleati, distruggendo gran parte della città storica negli ultimi mesi della campagna italiana. Nell’aprile del 1945 i partigiani italiani si ribellarono contro le truppe di occupazione tedesche, spianando la strada per la finale a nord avanzata degli Alleati, e Rimini è entrata in una nuova era.

Nel 1948, la città il primo di sinistra del Consiglio ha fatto un passo drammatico e ha ordinato la demolizione della struttura Kursaal – una rottura simbolica con il passato borghese del turismo di Rimini, e una mossa molto lamentato al giorno d’oggi dove si deve guardare nero sgranato foto in bianco e per avere un assaggio del famoso edificio. Se il Kursaal avrebbe inserito in mare dopo la guerra di Rimini è discutibile, anche se, come Rimini, si è ricostruita sia in termini di edifici e di immagine. Rimini, forse più di ogni altra città resort italiano, salito alla sfida.
Allo stesso tempo, che Federico Fellini, il figlio più famoso moderna di Rimini, è stato ricreare la città della sua giovinezza in film come il premio Oscar Amarcord, la città reale era la costruzione di una infrastruttura turistica che avrebbe portato le famiglie alla riviera, attirati da spiagge ben tenute (il lungomare è stato diviso e concessa in licenza a operatori di spiaggia, incaricato di tenere la spiaggia pulita e incontaminata, in cambio del diritto di far pagare per lettini e ombrelloni), alloggi a prezzi accessibili, e alcuni dei migliori prodotti alimentari in Italia . In un periodo di 30 anni Rimini si è affermato come luogo di vacanza per gli italiani. E ‘stato stimato che più della metà della popolazione italiana ha visitato almeno una volta di Rimini (La Repubblica, 21 marzo 2007).
Ironia della sorte, però, sono stati Sigismondo Malatesta a passeggiare per la Riviera oggi, avrebbe trovato i moti di attrazione gravitazionale indietro verso i suoi edifici, e il centro storico della città. C’è un rinnovato interesse tra i turisti ed esperti di Rimini Malatesta – una conferenza di alto profilo si è tenuta, per esempio, l’anno scorso a Los Angeles. Allo stesso tempo la ricchezza di eventi e festival che si tiene ogni estate, che vanno dal teatro di strada e degustazioni di vino, fino al cinema all’aperto e sfilate di moda, hanno introdotto molti al fascino del centro storico di Rimini e potete andare a: Hotel Economici Rimini.
Ciò che rende Rimini una meta buona vacanza (facilmente raggiungibile con voli diretti da tutta Europa), è che non si deve scegliere tra la classica vacanza al mare o cultura.
